Last week, Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee, along with partners from the Savannah Music Festival and the American Prohibition Museum, hosted a luncheon at The Local Three with more than 15 journalists and freelance writers in the Atlanta metro area to talk about story opportunities in Savannah. They also brought some of Leopold’s famous ice cream to the staffs at The Weather Channel and Atlanta Magazine. This is the first of several media outreach missions scheduled throughout the year in order to strengthen relationships with important media outlets.
