The Savannah Area Chamber’s Military Affairs Council was proud to honor local service members during its annual Military Appreciation Luncheon at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa on May 23. Providing the community with an opportunity to show support for military personnel, the Chamber also recognized each branch’s outstanding service member of the year at the luncheon.
The event included a keynote address from Third Infantry Division, Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield In-Coming Commanding General Maj. Gen. Leopoldo Quintas, Jr. This was Maj. Gen. Quintas’ first Savannah Community address since becoming 3rd ID Commander.
