Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee Host Writers for “Year of Georgia Film” FAM Trip
Last week, Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee worked in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Economic Development to host a group of journalists on a familiarization tour (or “FAM tour”) of the destinations in celebration of 2017 as the “Year of Georgia Film.” Writers toured filming locations around both Savannah and Tybee Island, and discussed coastal Georgia’s assets as a filming location for future productions. Journalists also enjoyed Savannah’s signature hospitality while dining and touring through town and on Tybee Island.
