The Savannah-Chatham County Public School system is dedicated to supporting its students as they transition from school into adulthood, and strives to provide quality learning experiences and program options to ensure all students are fully prepared to succeed in an increasingly competitive workforce. To this end, the school system is hosting its annual fall job fair October 5 to connect employers with its work-ready students. The involvement of the business community with the local school system will help to ensure that it is maximizing all opportunities to strengthen the workforce and provide the critical first step in the successful futures of students.
The fall Ready-to-Work Job Fair is scheduled for Thursday, October 5 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Savannah Mall. Organizations participating in the job fair will have the opportunity to meet and interview an impressive group of high school juniors and seniors available for seasonal, part time and long-term employment. All businesses and organizations are encouraged to attend regardless of the number of vacancies that may be available.
Upon registration, you will receive an email confirmation with vendor instructions. For additional information, call Ronald Aikens in the Office of College & Career Readiness at 912.395.6765.
