Government Affairs Council Meets to Discuss 2018 Agenda

Last week, the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Council met to discuss priorities to appear on the Chamber’s 2018 legislative agenda. Topics discussed included education and workforce development, transportation, public safety, healthcare issues and non-partisan redistricting, among others. The Council will be holding a follow-up meeting at 3 p.m. October 16 to further discuss potential priorities.
The Chamber’s office of governmental affairs will also be hosting the Eggs & Issues Legislative Breakfast at the Hyatt Regency on November 16, and Savannah-Chatham Day in Atlanta February 15.
