KROGER, WILMINGTON ISLAND
After almost two years of renovations, Kroger on Wilmington Island celebrated the end of construction with a grand re-opening ceremony last week. A large crowd gathered as Kroger Company’s Vice President of Operations Jeff Wojtkowiak praised the staff for their patience and professionalism during the process and complimented the construction team on their work. The store not only has a new look, but it expanded by adding a pharmacy with a drive-through and taking over other space in the shopping plaza. Numerous vendors were in attendance with samples, giveaways and coupons, including a calf named Apple, who came all the way from her farm at The Homestead Creamery in Virginia to attend the celebration.
