Visit Savannah and Hotel Partners Attend International Showcase
Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli recently hosted a “road trip” to Charleston to observe the annual Travel South International Showcase. The event brings in more than 300 international travel buyers to meet with over 150 destinations sales representatives. Also traveling were Jeff Kmiec, managing director of The DeSoto Hotel; Hugh Osborne, general manager of HLC Hotel Group; and Jose Nieto, general manager at the Hotel Indigo. Visit Savannah sales representatives Mindy Shea and Jo Piani (Visit Savannah’s international representative in the UK) managed the sales appointments.
