Spread the Love: LaunchSAVANNAH Service Project | February 26

LaunchSAVANNAH will spread the love to the Savannah community with a service project on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. Volunteers will help Second Harvest inspect, sort, and stock donated items that will be distributed to the community and take a tour of its 30,000 square foot warehouse.
America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia serves as the food source for partner non-profits that include food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, domestic abuse facilities, senior centers and daycare centers for low-income children.

For safety purposes, please wear closed-toed shoes; long pants are preferred. And don’t forget your LaunchSAVANNAH t-shirt! If you would like to purchase a t-shirt, please contact Drew Hunt at DHunt@SavannahChamber.com.

Created in June 2013 as a Savannah Area Chamber council for emerging professionals in the Savannah area, LaunchSAVANNAH brings together business professionals between the ages of 22 and 40 for networking, educational and philanthropic events.

Please bring five non-perishable canned food items to donate.

Date: Thursday, Feb. 26

Time: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
