SCCPSS Hosts Business Partner Appreciation Event at Oatland Island

The Savannah-Chatham Public School System hosted a business partner appreciation event at the Oatland Island Wildlife Center on Tuesday, Oct. 20. This was an important opportunity to thank partners who work to support the school system and welcome new partners who may be interested in getting involved.
Guests mingled with school leadership and other community partners while enjoying barbecue and low country boil prepared by culinary arts students from the Woodville-Tompkins Technical & Career High School.

The district relies heavily on business partnerships to bring schools, businesses and community organizations together to benefit students and provide a strong foundation for the future economic success of our community. The Savannah Chamber encourages all businesses who are able to play an active role in the business partnership program. If you are interested in getting involved, contact Kurt Hetager at kurt.hetager@sccpss.com or 912.395.1024.
