LaunchSAVANNAH Participates in Poverty Simulation
Young professionals with LaunchSAVANNAH experienced Step Up Savannah’s Poverty Simulation on Thursday, Nov. 12, which was designed to raise awareness of the barriers faced by a typical low-income family. In the simulation, attendees were tasked with managing the financial burdens facing those living below the poverty line, which is 25 percent of the Savannah community.
