State and Local Forcasts Given at Annual Economic Outlook Luncheon

More than 600 business professionals gathered at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center to hear the economic forecasts for Georgia and Savannah on Wednesday, Jan. 20. The Chamber’s annual Economic Outlook Luncheon featured speakers Dr. Ben Ayres, dean of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, gave the state forecast and Dr. Mike Toma of Armstrong State University gave the local forecast. Attendees received a copy of the 2016 Economic Trends booklet, which is compiled by research from Armstrong State University and sponsored by the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA).
