Visit Tybee’s Visitor Center Supervisor, Liz Hood and Visit Savannah’s Visitor Center Director, Mava Byrd attended the state’s Regional Visitor Information Center (RVIC) Training hosted by the Lake Lanier CVB and the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) last week.

Training is held annually for 80 Georgia regional visitor information centers to provide current information on travel trends and what’s new in Georgia. One of the topics covered this year was Georgia-grown products.

Visitor Center managers and directors who serve on the RVIC advisory board, which includes Byrd, met on the last day of the workshop and wore Georgia on My Mind shirts given by the GDEcD.
