SBA Deputy Administrator Douglas Kramer will be in Atlanta to kick off day two of the National Small Business Week celebrations that are happening across the nation during this historic week. SBA Regional Administrator Cassius F. Butts will officially welcome the national event to Atlanta and the Southeast Region followed by an arm chair discussion lead by Deputy Administrator Kramer regarding trends for small business and the current business industries that are experiencing a boom.
Small businesses can attend the event in Atlanta or live-stream it.
Featured panelists will include Todd Greene, vice president, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Jeff Patterson with the Georgia Small Business Development Center, Art Slotkin with Georgia SCORE, Lee Baker with Georgia AARP, and Tisha Tallman, with the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Following the armchair discussion, attendees may attend a forum of their choice to learn more on the topics: The Tech Explosion – Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Hollywood South – Small Business Opportunities in the Entertainment Industry, and Gateway to the World – Expanded International Trade Opportunities with the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project
