Vulcan Materials Company, the nation’s largest producer of construction aggregates, has opened its newest facility in Savannah. The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday, April 29, with a light lunch and remarks. The new location is at 53 Sonny Perdue Drive, Garden City. The Savannah sales yard will be rail served and has been strategically selected and developed in this location to allow Vulcan to supply aggregate to one of the fastest growing markets in the Southeast.
