THE AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINAL ART GALLERY TO HOST GRAND OPENING MAY 25

The Australian Aboriginal Art Gallery, located at 404 W. Broughton Street, invites you to its grand opening celebration on Wednesday, May 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Join them for the ribbon cutting of the only art gallery on the East Coast dedicated to Australian Aboriginal art! Come say G’day Mate, enjoy an Australian cultural experience, and learn more about our artists and their treasured works. This is a free event. There will be a painting silent auction with proceeds benefiting The Dwayne & Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah at Memorial Health, entertainment provided by Didgeridoo Down Under, Australian Pavlova from Savannah Coffee Roasters and Australian wine with light hors d’eouvres. For more info, click here or email info@abartgal.com.

Haifa Group Ribbon Cutting

HAIFA GROUP CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING AND RIBBON CUTTING

Please join the Chamber is congratulating Haifa Group on its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony held on Thursday, May 5. Haifa Group is an Israeli-based multinational corporation and a global leading supplier of potassium ni­trate for agriculture and industry, specialty plant nutrients and food phosphates. Haifa’s global operations span in over 100 countries across five conti­nents with 14 subsidiaries and five production plants. Haifa Group officially commissioned a new state-of-the-art Controlled Release Fertilizer (CRF) plant in Savannah. The new production facility is expected to produce 16,000 MTPA of Haifa’s Multicote™ and CoteN™ CRF. The new CRF facility significantly increases the Group’s fertilizer coating capacity and enables it to effectively serve the North American market. It brings both enhanced production capabilities and the supply chain closer to its business partners. The new facility reflects an investment of over $10 million, and has the potential to create 30 jobs in the Savannah market. KRISTEN BAIRD FINE JEWELRY CELEBRATES LAUNCH PARTY

Congratulations to Kristen Baird Fine Jewelry on its ribbon cutting and launch party, hosted by The Grand Bohemian Gallery at the Mansion on Forsyth Park, on Friday May 6. Kristen Baird displayed her collection of sparkles, gemstones and custom handcrafted jewelry as well as her gold collection and custom bridal work. A local jewelry designer, Kristen Baird Rabun is a SCAD alumna who decided to plant her roots in Savannah upon graduation. In addition to her Savannah-influenced collection of ready-to-wear jewelry, she collaborates and creates custom pieces to fit clients’ needs, as well as pieces that capture each client’s story. Join the Chamber is congratulating Coastal Divorce Advisors, an affiliate of Coastal Capital Management, on its ribbon cutting ceremony held at its new office, located at 21 East York Street.
