Grand Openings & Ribbon Cuttings – 6/20/16

Upcoming events:SAVANNAH STATE UNIVERSITY TO HOST GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONIES JUNE 24

On Friday, June 24, Savannah State University invites the community to attend two groundbreaking ceremonies for new SSU buildings. The first will be held at what will be the new Marine Sciences Building (2717 Livingston Ave.; site of the former Savannah Italian Club) at 2 p.m. The second groundbreaking will follow at what will be the new Science and Technology Building (SSU campus – North Tompkins Road, near Kennedy Fine Arts Building) at 3 p.m. In case of rain, the ceremonies will be held in the Jordan Building auditorium. THE ORDINARY PUB TO HOST RIBBON CUTTING AND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION JUNE 24

The Ordinary Pub, located at 217 ½ West Broughton Street in Downtown Savannah, is celebrating its first birthday on Friday, June 24. Chamber members are invited to celebrate and enjoy reimagined pub fare and lively spirits and cocktails. A ribbon cutting kicks off the festivities at 3 p.m. with happy hour specials, house-created libations and cold craft beers on tap. To learn more about this business, click here.

B. OLIVE – A FAMILY BOUTIQUE TO HOST GRAND OPENING JUNE 30

The grand opening of B. Olive- “A Family Boutique” will be held on June 30 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at its location, 50 Berwick Blvd Suite 140, Savannah. A celebratory ribbon cutting will be held at 9:50 a.m. The first 50 customers to shop with the boutique, will receive a free gift with their purchase. During the opening, customers will be able to enjoy small delicious pastries from Just A Bite Catering and great door prizes from nearby shops (Sports Clips, Snazzy Bar and more).
