Visit Tybee hosts GCTA’s Monthly Lunch Meeting

Visit Tybee hosted theGeorgia Coast Travel Association‘s (GCTA) monthly meeting in the grand ballroom at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel on Thursday, September 8. National Park Service superintendent Melissa Memory from Fort Pulaski National Monument was the guest speaker for the meeting and she educated the audience on the history of Fort Pulaski. The event was catered by Gerald’s Pig and Shrimp and included fresh caught Georgia shrimp and some of the best barbeque on the island. GCTA gives tourism leaders from all over Georgia the opportunity to find the best ways to promote Georgia’s 100 miles of beautiful coastal cities and towns.
