High School Students Explore Tybee Island’s Diverse Ecosystem

Visit Tybee and Visit Savannah joined together to host 200 high school students from the Atlanta area on an educational tour of Savannah’s history and Tybee’s diverse ecosystem. While on Tybee, Michael Neil with Bull River Cruises took the group on a 90 minute dolphin cruise of the barrier islands and inland rivers. After being out on the water, the group took to the land with Dr. Joe Richardson from Tybee Beach Ecology Trips where they learned about a variety a beach animals found along the Georgia coast.
