The Chatham County Juvenile Court will host the 2nd Annual Community Safety Forum entitled Effective and Therapeutic Approaches for a Safer Savannah Saturday, December 10 at the Coastal Georgia Center.
The Chatham County Juvenile Court, Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department and Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools are leading the initiative for youth who have been referred to them as a result of delinquency matters in effort to set those youths on a path where they can grow into healthy and productive members of the community.

Last year’s forum cultivated communication across various community sectors, resulting in professional development and internship opportunities for Savannah’s youth. Participation from business and community leaders is needed to help ensure the efforts that are improving outcomes of youth everyone can experience a safer and more prosperous Savannah.
