The Downtown Streetscape Improvement Initiative seeks design and construction improvements for Broughton Street, Bay Street, and River Street from Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard to East Broad Street in order to create a rich and exciting pedestrian realm. Community Meetings will be held throughout the preliminary design phase to actively seek input. All community members are invited and encouraged to attend the meetings and fill out the survey. The next meeting will be held Tuesday, January 17 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Coastal Georgia Center located at 305 Fahm Street.
