Last week, the Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee media relations team spent time with David Perry, a freelance journalist working on material for several travel publications. Perry visited Savannah to experience its food and leisure culture, hitting many Savannah landmarks as well as lesser-known attractions and businesses. The media relations team works closely with writers and editors to identify possible story ideas appropriate to the readership of different publications and to highlight a variety of member businesses in telling Savannah and Tybee Island’s story.
