Visit Savannah’ s director of sales Larry Browder hosted the meeting planners of the American Society of Plant Biologists recently, after Savannah was named a top three finalist city for their huge annual convention. The meeting would take place during the traditionally slow period of August in 2023. If Savannah is awarded the business, the convention would bring 1,500 attendees to town. The planners enjoyed exceptional experiences at The Olde Pink House, Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room and Alligator Soul, along with a tour of the Historic District.
