Anaheim, California, was the location for this year’s IPW, the largest international travel trade show in the U.S. This year there were more than 6,000 attendees, with over 70 countries represented. Jeff Hewitt, senior vice president, and Mindy Shea, director of tour, travel and international sales, attended the conference. Before the start of the show, Shea co-hosted 35 top Chinese tourism buyers for a mini trade show and luncheon, along with her counterparts from throughout Georgia. Hewitt met with over a dozen journalists during the Media Day, and both Hewitt and Shea met with 45 tour operators from Savannah’s key international feeder markets.
