Last week, Savannah welcomed the 2019 Worth Cities Summit and more than 150 thought leaders in economic development from around the country. The Worth Cities Summit: Journeys to Urban Excellence is an interactive economic development conference that showcases strategies for fostering inclusive growth, downtown development and global investment. Conversation topics range from investment opportunities, smart development and future transportation solutions. Attendees have opportunities to interact with mayors, business leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and investors from cities nationwide, all committed to the challenge of accelerating inclusive growth.

Topics at the 2019 Summit included “Expanding the Economic Pie in the Peach State,” “New Ideas in Transportation,” “Private Visions, Public Good” and more.
