McManamy Jackson Law is pleased to announce a special open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 18, from 5-7 p.m., at its new office on Eisenhower Drive. McManamy Jackson executed a full redevelopment of the property, culminating in renewed visual appeal for this busy stretch of Eisenhower Drive and growing professional/commercial corridor. This special event will showcase the revitalized building and office complex, offer networking among local business leaders and industry colleagues, and refreshments. NAMI SAVANNAH
NAMI Savannah hosted its official open house on Tuesday, July 9. NAMI is the largest grassroots organization that offers support, education and advocacy for individuals who are affected by mental health conditions. They also offer support to the family members of those affected. Weekly support groups, peer-led classes, free trainings and resource referrals are just a few of the things the NAMI Savannah can offer the community. NAMI is here to help, and to remind you that “you are NOT alone.” Please join the Chamber in congratulating NAMI Savannah on its grand opening!
ISLANDS HELPING HANDS
Islands Helping Hands, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit thrift store, celebrated its grand opening last Saturday. The store accepts donations during store hours Tuesday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and the donor chooses the charity to benefit from the proceeds of their donation. Islands Helping Hands will also be offering nutrition education, literacy, jewelry-making, floral arrangement, and knitting classes, as well as blood pressure readings and book reading to children. Their grand opening event included ice cream, blood pressure readings, book reading, and door prizes! Call at 349-HOOZ (4669) as in HOOZ you gonna call about your donations! RIVER DRIVE CROSSFIT
River Drive CrossFit believes in empowering individuals toward life changing results through fitness, community and accountability by investing in their overall health and wellness. Last week, River Drive hosted their grand opening event, featuring surprise giveaways, a chance to win a three-month membership, and grand opening specials! Guests enjoyed food and drinks, activities for the kids and a chance to meet the staff. Congratulations to River Drive CrossFit on cutting the ribbon!
