Tybee Island Welcomes Special Guide Dog Guest
The Tybee Island Visitor Center welcomed a very special guest last week: Tybee, the newest guide dog from Southeastern Guide Dogs! In honor of their close relationship with Tybee’s Mermaid Cottages, they have bestowed the special honor of naming their new puppy-trainee after Savannah’s Beach. Tybee will spend the next year in puppy training while exploring Tybee Island and downtown Savannah in his spare time.
