For the first time ever, Savannah played host to top tour operators from Mexico. The familiarization tour was organized by Brand USA, and included six operators, mostly from Mexico City. None had been to the Southern United States before and were captivated by Savannah’s beauty and history. Mindy Shea, director of tour, travel, and international sales, escorted the group while they were in our city. As they departed, they expressed their excitement at returning home and relaying their experiences to their U.S.-bound travelers as well as their colleagues.
