Earlier this month, the Chamber, Tourism Leadership Council and the Savannah Downtown Business Association hosted a regional listening session leadership from the Georgians First Commission, Governor Kemp’s initiative to secure Georgia’s designation as the best state in the nation for small business, met with small business owners in the Savannah area. Scott Hilton, executive director of the Georgians First Commission, and Georgians First commissioner Ruel Joyner listened to members of the local small business community discuss their concerns and suggestions, and shared their upcoming efforts to streamline state small business policies and procedures.
