GA Senate Study Committee on Reducing Cost of Doing Business to Meet in Savannah

The Senate Study Committee on Reducing Georgia’s Cost of Doing Business was created last legislative session by SR 433 and tasked with examining the impact that Georgia’s legal environment has on the cost of doing business and performing healthcare services in Georgia. Senator John Wilkinson is the chair of the committee and Savannah’s Senator Ben Watson is a member of the committee. This Senate Study Committee was impaneled to find solutions to the problems identified, and they are off to a great start.

The next meeting of the study committee will be in Savannah on Monday, October 21 at the GSU Armstrong Campus–Ashmore Hall, Room 119. The Chamber would encourage any members who are interested to attend the meeting on October 21 to show Senator Watson and the other members of the committee support for the important work they are doing.
