The Savannah Sports Council and Visit Savannah are pleased to announce that Sports Council intern Kasey Ricketts has been hired to a permanent, full-time position as sports and services coordinator. Ricketts is a Michigan native and a graduate of Campbellsville University in Kentucky with an undergraduate degree in communications and a master’s degree in sports management. She has interned with the Sports Council since July of 2018, focusing on enhancing the social media presence of the Sports Council’s events. While at Campbellsville, she was a member of their women’s wrestling team where she also coached while earning her Master’s degree. Locally, Kasey is serving as an assistant coach with the Benedictine Military Academy Cadet Wrestling Team.
In her role as sports and services coordinator, Kasey will be responsible for managing the Sports Council’s event social media accounts, websites, and assisting with all of their marketing and communications.
