Last week, Visit Savannah’s communications manager Summer Bozeman and Visit Tybee’s communications coordinator Ansley Connor traveled to New York to attend TravMedia’s annual International Media Marketplace show at the Javits Center. Bozeman and Connor each had 24 appointments with journalists and content creators in attendance, from traditional media to online travel influencers, and were also treated to a panel discussion on sustainable tourism. The team came home with business cards and media kits for follow-up and looks forward to planning media visits with the top picks from their appointments in 2020 and beyond.
