The most anticipated event of the year for the International Inbound Travel Association is their annual Summit, which was held in Savannah last year and was hosted in St. Petersburg, Florida this year. Mindy Shea, director of tour, travel and international sales attended the Summit, in which inbound tour operators, suppliers and industry suppliers from across the country gather for the opportunity to learn about current happenings in the industry, strategically plan for the year, network and have one-on-one appointments. During the course of the event, Shea attended numerous educational sessions and met with nearly 40 operators who work with international travel markets.
