Visit Savannah Connects with International Operators
Tour operators from around the globe attended the recent Connect Travel Marketplace in Kissimmee, Florida. Mindy Shea, director of tour, travel and international sales for Visit Savannah, met one-on-one with over 40 operators from Europe, Asia and South America over the course of the show. The U.S. continues to be a popular destination for international travelers, and awareness of the Southern region and Savannah continues to grow as well. Several new tour operators expressed an interest in starting to promote our to their travelers as a result of the meetings at the conference.
