From Canvas to Clay: A Savannah Artist's Journey

My artistic adventure began in childhood, exploring the beauty of historic Savannah and nearby coastal villages with my father on weekly sketching trips. This early passion ignited a lifelong pursuit of artistic expression.

Following my academic foundation – a Diploma in Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art – I spent 35 years creating vibrant paintings and prints. My work during this period was influenced by Abstract Expressionism, reflecting themes of infinite space, luminous color, and landscape allusions, often interwoven with my Buddhist beliefs.

Today, my creative journey takes a new form. I'm now focused on crafting one-of-a-kind, crystalline ceramic pieces. My passion for color and vibrancy continues to shine through in this exciting new medium.
