About

The Lutheran Church of the Ascension is a historic Lutheran church in Savannah, Georgia, located in the Savannah Historic District on Wright Square. The congregation was founded in 1741 by Johann Martin Boltzius, a Lutheran minister who had come to Georgia from Germany.
