Who We Are:
Bananas Foster is the official nonprofit of "The Greatest Show in Sports," The Savannah Bananas. Our mission is bringing families together by celebrating the foster care community while educating and inspiring others to get involved. The key words there are...Celebrate, Educate, and Inspire and all our programs at Bananas Foster are dedicated to accomplish these.

Educate: Bananas Foster is proud to partner with local Chatham County and national nonprofit organizations dedicated to making a difference in the foster care community. Together we promote volunteer opportunities, ask for needed supplies and support for families, sponsorships and financial support, and licensing to become a foster family. Donations:
As a 501c3 organization, all donations are tax-deductible! One way to get involved in the foster care community is to donate financially to Bananas Foster.

Currently, we have a fundraiser with Party Animal, Bret Helton. Bret has a big heart and long hair. He came to Bananas Foster wanting to make a difference and donate his hair to a child in need. For every $1,000 we raise, we will cut 1 inch of Bret's hair. Our goal is to shave his head for $50,000.
