Wayne is a retired high school history teacher and football coach with thirty years of experience. Throughout his career, he has been honored with several awards for teaching excellence. Wayne has a degree in History and loves the Revolution and Civil War eras. He is a great storyteller, speaker, and writer. He has a great passion for Savannah, Georgia and the Old South. It has been said that he teaches history as if he witnessed it with his own eyes! Wayne is a member of the Savannah Exchange Club, the Georgia Historical Society and the Bonaventure Historical Society.
