Our workforce provides vital services and fosters community pride, from our hospitality professionals to our healthcare and law enforcement heroes to tradespeople, small business owners, and everyone in between.

Beyond their careers, Savannah’s workers actively engage in civic activities and volunteer efforts, and they support local organizations, contributing to our city’s resilience and vibrancy. On this Labor Day, we take this opportunity to honor Savannah’s workforce and their dedication to making our region the best place to live, work, play, and raise a family.
