Chamber and Visit Savannah Partner with Mayor Van Johnson and the City of Savannah for 912 Day Celebration

The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah is excited to announce a special partnership with Mayor Van Johnson and the City of Savannah to celebrate Savannah 912 Day on Thursday, September 12, 2024. This dynamic, citywide celebration will unite residents, businesses, and community organizations in a show of “Savannah pride,” both online and in person, to honor the vibrant spirit of the Hostess City.

912 Day is an opportunity for Savannahians to connect and highlight what makes their city a unique and special place to live. The day-long celebration will culminate with the Chamber’s Business Expo and Business Connection event from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Trustee’s Garden Ironworks Building. The event promises exciting prizes, engaging networking opportunities, and an interactive showcase of Savannah’s thriving business community. This free event is open to the public.

As part of the celebration, the City of Savannah has prepared a comprehensive 912 Day Toolkit designed to help local businesses and organizations join in the festivities. The toolkit includes the official 912 Day logo, suggested hashtags, and easy-to-follow guidelines for incorporating 912 Day into marketing efforts. Businesses are encouraged to download and use the toolkit to show their Savannah pride across social media and beyond. Click Here to access the toolkit.

Let’s gather on Thursday, 9.12.24, to celebrate the city’s culture, history, and charm. Happy Savannah 912 Day!
