Last week, a group of Chamber and Visit Savannah staffers met at new member AR Workshop to hand-make customized decor for their homes! AR Workshop Savannah is a boutique DIY studio that offers hands-on classes for creating custom home decor from raw materials. Owner Heather Nelson has a passion for interior design and is excited to bring this concept to Savannah. Her vision is to tap into a community rich in art and history and encourage all who visit to find their inner artist. AR’s core classes are  instructor-led workshops where you can make custom wood plank or framed signs/trays, canvas pillows or tote bags, lazy susans and centerpiece boxes. They also offer select specialty workshops where local artists share their craft.
