The Savannah Area Chamber is welcoming a new staff member to the team! In August, Karoline Hix took over as the new membership coordinator. Karoline was born in Germany and speaks fluent German and French as well as English. Before transitioning to her new role, she worked for Visit Savannah as a first impression specialist. She is also a published author of both fiction and nonfiction.

As membership coordinator, Karoline will be in charge of maintaining the Chamber’s contact database, help to schedule member ribbon cutting and grand opening events, and will assist with monthly networking events, invoicing and new member orientation.
