Chamber’s 212th Annual Meeting Honors 2018 Successes

The Chamber hosted its 212th Annual Meeting Thursday, December 13 at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. At the meeting, the Chamber reflected on its 2018 accomplishments and reviewed its 2019 program of work. 2018 Chamber board chair Jay Neely was recognized and he passed the gavel to incoming board chair Rusty Ross, partner with Morris, Manning & Martin, LLC. Other outgoing board members, committee chairs and volunteers who have made 2018 so successful were also honored at the luncheon.
This year, the Chamber was honored to welcome featured keynote speaker Richard Bradley, editor-in-chief of Worth magazine, who discussed Savannah’s inclusion as one of Worth’s 12 “Cities of Distinction.”

For seven years, Bradley has led the editorial direction of the award-winning publication, and is overseeing the Worth Group’s aggressive expansion into content distribution across multiple platforms. Bradley’s previous experiences includes roles as the executive editor of George, 02138 and Regardie’s, and he is the author of three best-selling books. Bradley is a graduate of Yale College and earned his master’s at Harvard University.

Thank you to all the members who sponsored this event, to the boards of the Chamber, Visit Savannah, Visit Tybee and the Sports Council, and to everyone who attended.
