City of Savannah Seeks Your Input in Selecting New Chief of Police

The City of Savannah is seeking the community’s input through a survey to select a new Chief of Police after Chief Roy Minter stepped down from the helm of the Savannah Police Department last week. A private firm is collecting community input so the City can gauge residents’ priorities in selecting the next chief.

Please take a moment to complete this survey here.

Similar to voting, our voices cannot be heard if our community does not take the opportunity to add their input. For many businesses, crime and public safety are primary and immediate concerns. So we encourage everyone to please put in their comments and concerns so that our law enforcement is reflective of our community.

We wish Chief Minter the best as he pursues a federal appointment, and welcome Chief Lenny Gunther as the Interim Chief.
