Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run’s Corporate Challenge is Now Open

Registration for the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run’s Corporate Challenge is now open. The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run will take place Saturday, December 7, 2019. Companies can join the Corporate Challenge to compete against other companies in the area, while promoting the importance of team building, healthy living and office camaraderie.

The Corporate Challenge has three divisions: a Small Company division for business with between three and 50 employees, a Medium Company division for between 51 and 200 employees and a Large Company division for companies with 201 employees or more. Companies win the Challenge by accumulating the most points in the race. Points are gained according to the number of registered runners on the company team, and each race is worth a different number of points. Teams receive five points per participant in the 5K, 10 points per participant in the 10K and 15 points per participant in the Double Pump. Companies participating in the Corporate Challenge have the option of paying for their employees’ registrations at a discounted price or have their employees pay for their own registrations.

To add an extra layer of competition, the company’s boss or CEO can run in the 5K for a chance to be honored as the “Fastest Boss in Savannah.”

The winners of the 2018 Corporate Challenge were Thomas & Hutton in the large division, Great Dane in the medium division and Vopak in the small division. Brad Harmon from Hunter Maclean was the fastest boss in Savannah in 2018 CEO Challenge.

Does your company have what it takes to conquer the bridge? Register your team today by emailing the Sports Council’s small business and events manager Jonathan Sykes at JSykes@VisitSavannah.com.
