Last week, the Savannah Area Chamber had the distinct honor of hosting a delegation of professional economists from the Federal Reserve, emphasizing the Atlanta branch’s commitment to community engagement under the leadership of Dr. Raphael Bostic.

The group immersed themselves in a comprehensive Savannah experience, engaging with local business owners and participating in a tour and dialogue at the Georgia Ports Authority to explore the burgeoning growth of our logistics industry.

During their visit, the Chamber facilitated three pivotal events: a roundtable discussion addressing workforce development and housing issues, an interactive session with key stakeholders from healthcare, technology, banking, and entrepreneurial sectors, and a presentation to esteemed members of our President’s and Owner’s Council, focusing on the prevailing economic landscape.
