Girls Scouts of Orlando Journey to Savannah

First Impression Specialists at the MLK Visitor Center had fun meeting Girl Scouts of Orlando. The young ladies were very thrilled to be visiting the historic landmark so pivotal to their Organization. Girl Scouts was founded by Juliette Gordon Low on March 12, 1912 in Savannah, Georgia, and every year thousands of girls still travel to Savannah to visit Girl Scout First Headquarters and Juliette Gordon Low’s Birthplace.

The group smiled cheerfully for a group photo with the signature Forsyth Fountain pictured in the background. Centered in the beige uniform is the cadets. Surrounding her are the green-vested juniors, with the blue-vested daisies in the front, and brown-vested brownies in the center.
