MAYCREST HARDWARE
As the oldest hardware store in Savannah, Maycrest Hardware opened its doors in 1960 and has been family owned and operated ever since (although it has been through three different families!). Kyle and Nancy Adair, new owner operators along with Texas and Pete Cates, have created great changes inside the original doors. They have opened the store aisles creating a comfortable shopping experience and added 7,000 items plus a new paint center, home and hearth department, outdoor living, ice, propane cylinder filling, and DIY lumber. In addition, they offer services such as key cutting, glass cutting, pipe threading, knife sharpening, and are soon to offer rental equipment. It’s truly a one-stop shop! Help the staff of Maycrest Hardware cut the ribbon on Friday, March 27!

JDOG CARPET CLEANING
Last week, JDog Carpet Cleaning hosted their official grand opening on Thursday March 5. JDog Carpet Cleaning is American-owned and veteran-operated. The cutting of the ribbon took place at the Clyde Venue, located at 223 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and featured light hors d’oeuvres and one drink included with ticket purchase. All proceeds benefit Companions for Heroes. Congratulations to JDog Carpet Cleaning!
