Georgia Staffing Association (GSA) launches Savannah Chapter
The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce extended a warm welcome to the Georgia Staffing Association (GSA) during a kick-off reception for their new Savannah Chapter on Thursday, October 3rd. Lisa Yannett, Vice President of Horizon Staffing and Board Member of GSA, officially launched the Savannah Chapter with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event brought together Georgia Staffing Association President Eric Sizemore, GSA executive board members, GSA members from surrounding areas, local industry partners, and other staffing organizations. Mary’s Place Sexual Assault Center of the Coastal Empire

Mary’s Place Sexual Assault Center of the Coastal Empire will host a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, October 22nd at 10 AM to commemorate the opening of our brand new “soft room” at the center. The “soft room” includes a newly renovated waiting room and examination room. These newly renovated spaces will better support survivors of sexual assault in our community. Mary’s Place provides various services to support survivors, including telephone advocacy via our 24/7 crisis line, hospital accompaniment, survivor advocacy, support groups, and more. We provide resources and advocacy to over 500 survivors per year and reach over 20,000 youth and young adults with our prevention education programs. Mary’s Place is making a difference in many lives and will continue to address the problem of sexual assault in our community.

SIGC is an indoor, members-only, 24/7 golf performance facility that provides its members the ability to play one of over 300+ golf courses like Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, and Bethpage Black or practice their golf game with exact data from the world’s most accurate golf simulator – Trackman. In addition to the golf simulators, expert golf instruction is provided by Paul Johnson, a Certified PGA Professional. Coach Paul offers a junior golf academy for kids being introduced to the game to elite collegiate prospects. He also provides adult individualized coaching programs or group classes.
