Ribbon Cutting for Center Parc Credit Union

Center Parc Credit Union will host a ribbon cutting at its new Savannah-area flagship financial center on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022. The new comprehensive financial services center becomes Center Parc Credit Union’s first stand-alone facility in the Savannah area, as its two existing branches in the area are located inside large retail stores.
Center Parc Credit Union officials, members, invited guests and the community will gather for the Grand Opening at 11 a.m. at 5698-A Ogeechee Road, an outparcel of the Berwick Marketplace, to cut the ribbon on the completed structure.
Since Center Parc Credit Union makes supporting the communities it serves a priority, the new 6,200 square-foot flagship building includes several community-oriented features. For instance, groups can utilize a community room for meetings without charge. The building also features amenities including a coffee bar and a technology station for credit union members
This becomes the third Center Parc Credit Union facility in the Savannah market.
The new flagship location is open Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. -1 p.m., with 24-hour drive-up ATM and ITM services Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Chatham, Effingham or Bryan counties or several other counties in Georgia can become a member of Center Parc Credit Union.

Ribbon Cutting for Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center

Ribbon Cutting for the new Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center and “Save Spectacular” celebration of the 50th-anniversary milestone for national marine sanctuaries. Community leaders, representatives from the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, and the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of national marine sanctuaries and NOAA’s new Ocean Discovery Center in Savannah. The Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center is anticipated to open to the public in early 2023 and will offer free programs, activities, and opportunities for local residents and visitors to get involved with Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary and the local Chapter of the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation. The Ribbon Cutting Dedication ceremony will be followed by a ticketed reception for members of the Gray’s Reef Foundation Chapter, and a public open house is scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday the following week (October 19-22).”

Ribbon Cutting for VEL

Congratulations to the first ever utopian work cafe in Savannah! Guests were invited to a VIP event celebrating the official opening of VEL’s flagship location in Savannah. Attendees enjoyed a ribbon cutting, champagne toast, tours of the space and tastes from the menu.
Ribbon Cutting for Oglethorpe Chocolates

Denise Nokes, a chocolate lover from Western Pennsylvania landed in Savannah in 2010 and fell in love with this city’s nuttiness, sweetness, and variety. On Thursday, September 1, 2022, she celebrated her love for Savannah and all things chocolate with the grand opening of Oglethorpe Chocolates. Oglethorpe Chocolates will carry fine chocolates, gourmet truffles, Savannah Crunch popcorn, and various other chocolate and non-chocolate confections.
