OLE BONES HISTORIC GRAVEYARD TOUR

Ole Bones Tours is celebrating its successful 2019 launch with a ribbon cutting ceremony under the granite arch at Colonial Cemetery. The ribbon cutting will take place Wednesday, May 8, immediately followed by a reception at Cup to Cup Cafe. Free drip coffee, snacks, and (non-alcoholic) drink specials provided for all attendees.

Ole Bones is a historic tour that seeks to uncover all the history buried in Colonial Park, Savannah’s 270 year old graveyard. Owing to the prevalence of haunted tourism narratives in Savannah, the business was founded with a passionate focus on historical facts. Mr Bones, the business owner, holds ambitions of cemetery preservation and restoration projects. He asks that you celebrate with him this first step toward remembering the amazing people that built this beautiful city.

RIVERVIEW HEALTH & REHABILITATION

Riverview Health & Rehabilitation has been remodeled and revitalized to help better serve the community, and invites you to join them at their open house to tour the center on Thursday, May 9 beginning at 4:30 p.m. It will be our pleasure to meet new and existing patients along with their families, our partners, colleagues and friends to celebrate recent renovations and new design.

SATCHEL. SAVANNAH/HILTON HEAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

On April 25, local accessory manufacturer satchel. celebrated the grand opening of their second location at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. Members of the Visit Savannah board of directors were in attendance to show their support. The satchel. brand was established in 2006 by Elizabeth Seeger Jolly, a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Please join the Chamber in congratulating satchel. on cutting the ribbon on their second location!

 

THE KESSLER COLLECTION’S ARMSTRONG-KESSLER MANSION

Last Friday, local hotelier Richard Kessler and his company The Kessler Collection officially cut the ribbon on his newly restored home in Savannah, the Armstrong-Kessler Mansion. This iconic home celebrates its 100th birthday this year, and his been meticulously restored to its former grandeur as one of the foremost examples of Italian Renaissance architecture and design in America. Congratulations to Richard Kessler and The Kessler Collection!
